The expansion of Lundbeck’s production unit in Padua, a company operating in the pharmaceutical sector, is a project that stands out for its elegance and quality of systems. In fact, integrated solutions are spokesmen for a corporate philosophy that orbits around the concept of well-being, with active policies of social and environmental sustainability.
THE PROJECT
The Lundbeck office in Padua involved Nesite in the supply of raised floors and glass walls, with efficient proposals in terms of functionality, comfort and aesthetics.
To this purpose, all rooms were built with the Diffuse radiant floor, a versatile and fully inspectable solution that can air-condition large rooms evenly, granting maximum flexibility in space distribution. In addition to this, the system’s quick response determines the high thermal output and the consequent reduced energy consumption. Moreover, the finishing panels are decoupled from the underlying system, allowing the radiant part to be retained in the event of replacement, resulting in significant cost savings.
From an aesthetic point of view, the system was completed with high-quality finishes: natural stone in the common areas and Parky in the offices and staircase covering.
The rooms were completed with the installation of stratified glass partition walls.
SUPPLY DETAILS
Raised floors
1,000 sq m Diffuse system, radiant heated raised floor, consisting of:
• calcium sulfate panels, size 600×600 mm, with Parky oak essence, high-strength natural wood finish stabilized on HDF core.
• calcium sulfate panels, size 600×600 mm, with natural stone finising.
In the design of the Diffuse radiant floor, Nesite’s service includes specific assessment of dispersion and subsequent calculation of ideal heat outputs, i.e., maintaining the temperature between 18 and 20 °C.
Glass partition walls
• walls made of 5/5.1 mm single-pane laminated glass transparent, with beveled edges and polished edge grinding. Linear glass-to-glass connection with structural silicone double-sided adhesive 1.5 thickness mm.
• glossy flush hinged doors made of 10 tempered clear glass. Lock with magnetic latch, inside/outside cylinder, and pair of lever handles in satin-finished AISI 304 stainless steel.
• wall start with extruded aluminum profile having a 72x17H mm section, with silver anodized finish.
• corner connections made with 10.5×10.5mm two/three-way transparent polycarbonate profile.
• anti-falling wall in vacuum, made of 10/10.4 mm clear laminated safety glass, tempered.

Diffuse
Dry radiant systems do not require cementitious screed for the distribution of heat. They are lightweight, quick to install, can be immediately walked on and have a very low thermal inertia.
Finishes
Parky
PARKY is the new eco-friendly engineered top covering, composed of a high density wood fibre core (HDF) and a real wood top surface. The veneer is adhered to the HDF by means of a special resin which, under pressure, impregnates it, giving it hardness to withstand commercial traffic certified as Class 33 - AC5. The

Natural Stones
For years Nesite stands out for the production of raised floor with natural materials such as stone, marble and granite. In our factory the coating is coupled to the panel core.
